My first contact with Pumpkin, an orangutan, at Jungle Island in Miami.
I am always touched by a being that sees me.
My sister, Dr. Suzanne Thigpen, did these unbelievable water colors of the orangutans at Jungle Island - Miami.
Unique opportunities for interns and dolphin enthusiasts. Research locations include Cancun/Isla Mujeres, Cozumel and the Mayan Riviera. Spend time with bottlenose dolphins while participating in cognitive, behavioral, medical and communication research. Learn about state-of-the-art equipment for creating scientific-grade recordings for communication analysis, conduct ethograms with mothers and calves, assist in dolphin vision experiments and more.
